Ben Bova - Saturn Yet another of the "Grand Tour" books. I keep buying these although in truth the quality has been uneven. Mars and Jupiter were quite good, but The Rock Rats series was abysmal. Watch this space. |

Alastair Reynolds - Absolution Gap Although Reynolds absolutely scares me to death, I figured I had to read the conclusion to the "Revelation Space Trilogy". It's probably just as excellent as the other two books, and just as scary. Better read something else close to bedtime if I want to have any sleep.
